Raising A Boy Child - Last Night

Last night was the final night and kind of our own farewell to "Other" son #1. They got kicked out of "Other" son #1's house, since his mom had to clean up and do some of the food preparation for today's party. So they planned a sleepover here at the "angel" house. With 5 males all under 18 roaming in my fridge and it being a Friday, when the fridge is normally empty, I figured I had better stop to shop on the way home. A good thing I did, because they tucked into the stuff mighty fast. :-)
We watched Numb3rs (which my family is really getting into, thanks Ed) and then a new show, Flashpoint (both on CBS). Then it was time for us to go to bed.
The kids, of course, have other plans and I hear they were still up at 4AM. When we got up at 6Am, they were dead to the world and we left them that way. "Other" son #2 had to get to work at 11AM, (oh the life of the working stiffs). lol
So he hitched a ride with me when I went to get bagels at around 8AM. The others slept on until around 9AM, when they got up, packed up and ran back to "Other" son #1's house. They were needed to help with the big going away party that's on all day today. I and my husband were, of course, invited. :-)
So hubby and I will hopefully make an appearance after he gets off from work tonight.

My "Other" son #1 told us that he plans to see no one on Sunday, that's his family's final day with him and they get a private goodbye and then take him off to the recruitment center at like around 2AM on Monday morning. The Marines are going to get one very tired out kid. lol
Serves them right.
