My Water Post for today.
Since Steely Dan is so much on my mind this week, I thought I would bring you to the location of the first concert I saw with them in 2007.
It was the Chumash Indian Casino in Santa Ynez, California. As you walk into the casino you come to a staircase and escalator area with this striking water sculpture at both ends of it. They have the colors changing constantly and of course, the sound of the water falling down through the glass (or plexaglass) pieces.
It is just beautiful and it almost makes you forget that you can smell cigarettes and hear the slots, just past this entryway.
