Griffith Observatory From The Neighborhood's P.O.V.

We've been having lots of May gray and June gloom recently. I caught a picture of Griffith Observatory the other day, during some of that. This is the neighborhood directly down the hill from the Observatory. They have an interesting view of it. Sort of like the other neighborhood with the Hollywood sign just above them.
I have worked in this area for almost 30 years and I have never seen the view from this area of town. If I had not ended up living in the Valley, this would have been the neighborhood I would have chosen. It's a lovely area and just a 5 minute drive from work. Oh well, too bad for me...I live 35 miles away.
