This time I will make sure I get this up on my blog's Second Birthday. :-)
I just read last year's blog birthday post and there were several things mentioned, moving into year two. One was that I would continue to document my son and his flying. As we found out shortly after his 18th Birthday, his Flying ended. I was and continue to be heartbroken, but it's his life and not mine. So we carry on.
In an amazing turn of events, I have been able to keep up with my other sons. I did not know if this would be possible, since one of them went off to serve our Country. There have been ups and downs in his service in The Marines. I have enjoyed keeping track of him and his life...if only just little glimpses.
For a while I did not see my Magic son, but that changed around the end of last year. He has definitely been around in my life and I even got to watch him graduate last week. Much more then I expected, when I wrote my blog post last year. He says I will continue to see him, as he joins my son at college. For that I am thankful.
Something I never would have thought of, back in June. I began Water Posts in early November and that has become a favorite for many of you. I know I love going around town and finding those peaceful water spots in the Los Angeles area. I intend to continue, at least for now.
I documented what turned out to be the final year of The Unit. The posts are over on the left side of my blog, if any still want to check them out. I also had a once in a lifetime experience in being able to watch The Unit being shot. I have my friend Roo to thank for the set visit I attended, with her and my Husband.
Due to that set visit, I am now an Administrator of the Max Martini Board. When we saw Max Martini, he asked Roo and myself to pick up the pieces, that were being neglected by his old Administrator. So I am now activating members and deleting Spam. I am honored to do so.
Being the show has been canceled, Max intends to grow his site a bit and I know that will impact me and give me post material, moving into year three.
My favorite author of Romantic Suspense gave up on her board and I still miss it terribly. Suzanne, you were special and your board was special and it will never be replaced. :-(
I even documented my trip across America, which you can find on the left side of this blog. I never thought I would tell that story and thanks to those who asked me to.
Facebook and LinkedIn are two networking sites I joined in January and I have links to them both on the left side of my blog. Facebook especially, has become like crack candy to me. I am totally addicted to knowing what is going on in other people's lives.
Finally, this past year I was voted into the TAC, which is a professional Broadcasting Committee.
It has given me new horizons to explore and forces me to be in the front leading other stations in my Network, at least just a tiny bit. It has truly enriched my life.
Thanks again to all who stop by and even comment occasionally. You...every one of you, are so appreciated and loved.
Year Three...bring it on!
Happy birthday, Blog!! Keep up the great work, Angel, I really enjoy checking in with you. :-)
