It doesn't happen often, but for the first Sunday in the new Church, my husband came and sat with me. I noticed that there was a man with a camera taking some "official" photos, but I did not realize he got one with the two of us in it.
Photos were found here.
Count down 3 rows and look for a guy in a black jacket with red trim and then me in a blue patterned Hawaiian shirt (I don't remember wearing that). It's us, at Church together.
What a magical crazy day that was.
For any who want to see photos of the actual Dedication, the link to that, is here.
I love that! What a beautiful sanctuary too. Every time you show us pictures I am really impressed by the church.
ReplyDeleteOpen house this weekend and I am baking brownies for it right now. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThanks Fran!
Oh, for you the former Angeleno, don't miss tomorrows post.
I really like the open airy feel of the room you get in that shot.
ReplyDeleteI found this photo on the Church's Website, so I take no credit for it.
ReplyDeleteI guess I should have linked to it in the post.
I will go back to the post and fix that oversight. By the way, if you are into looking at the physical details of dedicating a Church, I just checked out the photos of the Dedication Ceremony. I found that interesting, too.
What a lovely thing for you!
ReplyDeleteThat font at the main entrance to the church is exquisite.
They did a fabulous job on the font. I can't wait to actually see a baptism there.
