My Water Post For Today.
I wish you could smell what this spray of herbs gives off, as they sprinkle the parishioners with holy water. It was so outstanding and unexpected...but enough about the herbs themselves.
I liked how those herbs looked, waiting for the Priest to pick them up at the start of the Mass. Holy water in a bowl and holy water in the font itself. Very religious and beautiful, all at once.
I hope you enjoy.
I get the impression it will take a lot to leave Easter. Oh well this is a nice way to end it. Have a good week... :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - I love the use of herbs for an aspergill. We use evergreen branches but I think that next year I will suggest incorporating some herbs! In fact, I am about to send this link to my friend so that she can see it.

ReplyDeleteWhat I hate is that you have to go to work right after the holiday. Poor Jesus, being born people get all sorts of days off. Dying and rising (hey supposedly he has been the only one to accomplish this task) gets no days off.
