Abundant Harvest Organics

We have a local farm stand called Lombardi Ranch. I have been going to it, during the Fall, for decades. In spite of floods, fires and Octoberfest, I have had their corn in my life.

A few years ago, they cut back their hours, due to the owner getting older and a few years ago having a fire run through their ranch. I have actually gotten out of the habit of going up the canyon and buying fresh produce.

Some of the people I work with have been using a service that delivers to the Media District. It is called Abundant Harvest Organics. The best part is they deliver right to our building!

I have been watching my coworkers get their box and reading the literature that comes along with their produce. It looks interesting and yet sometimes I wonder what someone does with all that produce. You get things you never have heard of, you get things in conditions you don't expect to get them in. Like small peaches, or 3 cantaloupes, instead of one.

In a good thing, I would not have to get a box every week. You can customized your delivery and you can get it every other week or 2 weeks in a row and then take a week off. Whatever works for you.

The cost for the small box is around $23. I just ran a total on how much I bought in produce last weekend and it is almost the same.

I realize that I will still have to buy stuff at the store, but I am thinking of doing this.

Did I mention it is California Grown and totally Organic?
