Maine Coast, At Portland

My Water Post For Today.

The northern end of the East Coast is a very desolate and rocky part of the Country. I have a friend who lives year round in Bar Harbour, which is located on Mount Desert Island and I applaud her for that.

This is Portland Head Lighthouse, just south of Portland, Maine.

I visited the area back in 2001. I really loved the rocks by the water and the surprising calm waves and the wind.



It's a wonderful place to visit and I hope you enjoy it.
