Glimmerglass, From The Other Side

It's Water Wednesday!

I have been wanting to get the opposite view of Glimmerglass Lagoon, for the entire time I have been up here. The problem is that it is quite a walk over there and there is no parking in The Village.

Well, the other day I found a 15 minute parking spot, right in the front of The Village. For loading and unloading, I am sure. I used it, to take a walk through The Village and get to the other side of the lagoon.

It was a wonderful, windy day and I really enjoyed my brief time, checking out the college's senior housing over there.

The part I wanted to see, was at the end of the road. Looking across the lake at Tyler Hall, Culkin Hall, and of course, the ever present, Niagara Mohawk Power Plant.

Enjoy.

  1. Although, it is not really about the water, the story is about the back round story's which really made this a wonderful post. It's nice to see that you are ever exploring the area, and taking us with you. Thanks

  2. I try to do a little something, when I drive over to campus or run errands. I have to time manage my life, to get everything going and to fit in those little extra cool things I have found along the way.
