It's getting a bit colder here in the frozen north. :-)
Thankfully, I don't have to spend huge amounts of time out in it, but yes, we may not have much snow yet, but it is still cold and the wind is blowing.
They have this cool fireplace in the new Campus Center and I was waiting for the day that they finally lit it. Well, Monday was the first day I saw it lit.
I had just bought a hot chocolate downstairs and came up to the lounge by the fireplace and there it was. Students all huddled around it, gathering the warmth.
So I sat down, took off my jacket, drank my hot chocolate and checked in on Facebook and Google News.
It was nice.
This was taken the day before, on Sunday and yes, it was cold that day, too.
We have been incredibly lucky on the snow situation so far (as I mentioned up above), but there is a big storm heading to our neck of the woods, all the way from the West Coast. We shall see if it makes it up here on Thanksgiving.
No matter what, I am glad I am going nowhere that day.
