A Waterfall

My Water Post For Today.

A close up shot of the waterfall at the top of the baptismal font, at my Church.

I loved the fact that you are just concentrating on the waterfall and not the rest of the font.

Water falling is always beautiful, as Frank Lloyd Wright proved. :-)

I hope you enjoy.

  1. Water, falling water and otherwise,is a brilliant and beautiful gift of our faith. It is the elemental sacrament.

This is gorgeous and what a sacramental way to begin the week.

  2. I was standing by it on Sunday and someone commented that they would love to have it in their backyard. I told the person that I had a pond in my backyard and yes, it is a very peaceful thing.

  3. We've GOT to get our garden "puddle" set up as a proper pond with flowing water. That's the only thing missing from our heavenly space: moving water. (If it doesn't move, it just breeds mosquitos, which brings the "heavenly" quotient down considerably.)

  4. I use mosquito fish, to keep the water clear. I don't know if they would work in your neck of the woods, though...Check it out.
