I posted this photo on Facebook, so apologies to those who have seen it.
The photo was taken about 2 weeks ago, the day after we had a severe storm. You can see that the normally placid lake is just churning with waves hitting the coast.
I loved the photo so much, that I painted it in oil. Still in process, btw.
The way the water turns shades of gray is what is so striking to me and then further back the very deep shade of blue. It is just amazing to me.

As I said before it is a great Water Post take 2. I am also glad you are getting back to a little painting, especially with no Makenna around.
