I finally got to a computer, so here are a few photos I took on Saturday.
We arrived Friday night almost 12 hours late, to Fort Madison, so no car.
Thankfully, we are now best friends with the local taxi company and are getting around just fine.
We took our river boat tour of the area, more on that later, and met the late Southwest Chief, with the Virtual Railfan crowd. Had lunch from a BBQ truck that was there, it was brisket and it was good.
We talked with many people who hang out at the camera sites, and minus not getting the rental car, we enjoyed the day.
