Looks like the time bomb that has been around since the first season of The Unit finally exploded. Tonight Mack puts the pieces together and realizes that Wilson was not the real problem in his marriage, it's Tom, his commanding officer. How this is going to play out is still up in the air, but I hope it's finally going to be solved, to every one's satisfaction. Tom wants to formalize the on again and off again relationship he has with Tiffy. By the end of the show, Tiffy finally realizes that even though she loves Tom, he is not the man for her. Unfortunately for Tom and Tiffy, Mack finally sees that Tom is way too upset about what is going on with Mack's wife and he pulls another surveillance op, a la Wilson the sleazy lawyer, to try to catch him in the act...and does so. The act he catches them in though is Tiffy telling Tom to basically get lost. This might actually save his commanding officer in the end, since they can honestly say the affair is over. Now the ball is in Mack's court.
Oh what a tangled web we weave...
I think we have only another episode or two to go, before The Unit runs out of shows, due to the writer's strike. I hope it gets finished, one way, or the other before that occurs. Three seasons worth of plot line is enough.
