My Water Post For Today.
It is only 26 miles away from the mainland United States, but a world apart. This is the Casino on Catalina Island. A beautiful structure, built by the Wrigley family. It is used now days for movies and special events, but back in the day, it was a get away for the rich and famous. Gambling and Las Vegas style shows were normal occurrences here.
Enjoy Avalon harbor and the casino of Catalina.
It looks like a great get away, considering what the weather will be this week rain, rain, rain... And I have to go out 3 days this week... fun, fun, fun. :-)
