Riding The Bus: Year Three

Earlier this month was the beginning of my third year riding the bus to work. Each year the trip gets better and better. The bus drivers are almost always on time. The break downs seem to be getting less and less and the drivers are better at getting around the bottlenecks that so often happen on the LA Freeway system. I have seen back roads in Pacoima, Arleta and North Hollywood itself. I am sure the residents of these neighborhoods wonder why this huge commuter bus is driving by. lol

The money I have saved each month has been incredible. If I spend $80 a month, it is a lot. That compares to $224 that I used to pay on Metrolink. I swear, the little inconvenience I deal with in North Hollywood is so worth that kind of savings. My best guess is that my family has saved somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 thousand dollars. Really, really, nice.
