Lussekatter On St. Lucia's Day 2012

They came out of the oven just before the day was over, but I managed to get them made on St. Lucia's Day.

Not a drop of Scandinavian blood flows through me, but I have definitely decided to add Lussekatter to my holiday baking, if I can find the time.

While I was waiting for the dough to rise and then rise again, I managed to make a batch of my Choco-Banana Cookies. Most of the ingredients that I used for the bread, ended up in the cookies, too. So it actually worked out well. My freezer will once again have cookies in it.

I do not do a lot of cookie baking, though I might make Pizza Dulce, or Snow Ball Cookies, somewhere along the way.

Christmas week is shaping up to be a catastrophe and so I am trying not to plan too much, around the holiday. One of the three of us has the week off, so my boss and I will have to hold up the fort, with not only our channels, but our new Link TV Channel.

I will manage, as I always do.

  1. Angel,
If there is once thing I know, it is no matter how many problems you have, I know you can handle them. That is why I am always so proud of you, and that is why I do love you :-)

  2. Speaking of added problems...not surprising, it was a very bad day at work. My problems, though are nothing, compared to the people who lost their loved ones in Connecticut. So very, very sad.
