Shepherd Me, O God

I spent a few hours in Temple on Yom Kippur and one of the best things about the time I spend there, is listening to the music. They use the same song, during the section of the service where they would usually recite the 23rd Psalm (The Lord Is My Shepard, I shall not want). The song is "Strengthen Me, O God" and it has many of the words from the psalm in it.

What happens a few weeks later, in my Catholic Church, is that the same basic song is played. it is called "Shepherd Me, Oh God" and it has to be my favorite song, during the liturgical year.

Since it is Sunday, I thought I would link to a Youtube Video of the song..."Shepherd Me, Oh God".

I truly hope you spend the time to listen and enjoy.

The photo came up, when I did a search query for the name of the song. Obviously, it is a St. Andrew's Abbey photo and I gladly use it here.
