This is my church, St. Kateri, last Sunday. I thought they did a beautiful job of dressing up the church for Advent.
The actual advent candles are up at the front, but on the side, so they are not visible from this angle.
They used the baptismal area, to hang all these ribbons and I was really impressed with the look. Impressed enough to walk to the end of the church to take this photo during the final prayer before Holy Communion.
“Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.”
Still have trouble remembering the words to the new prayer, but I am getting better at it. :-)
