Mass of Renewal by William Gokelman and David Kauffman

I have been back for a year and going to my normal Church, St. Kateri and yet I still don't have the feelings I had, when I attended services at St. Mary's, the Church in Oswego, NY.

One of the main problems I am having is that the mass that I attended in Oswego was performed by the adult choir and they were spectacular. The prayers that we sang were so wonderful and somehow the songs that used to be just fine with me, are a bit lacking now days.

It is a sad thing and so I thought I would let you hear what the choir in Oswego sang. I sent an email to the Church and found out, for a friend, what the songs were so I could let her hear it. I went searching on the Internet and found this. It is called the Mass of Renewal and the prayers are all similar in style.

The part that I remember best was the Holy Holy Holy prayer (known as Sanctus), before the Liturgy of the Eucharist. Advance the video to 4:30 minutes in and you can hear that very prayer, done masterfully, by this choir. I would leave the Church each week singing this prayer.

I hope you enjoy as much as I do.
