CSULA EcoCar 3 Team Gets A Check From GM

I have been seeing different schools in the EcoCar3 Competition holding large checks recently. So I asked my son if they too had gotten one.

Yes, he said and the picture had been taken the week of Thanksgiving.

So I was not surprised when I saw this photo come up on Tuesday of this week.

There he is, my son, holding this fake check for $20,000 from GM. Well, they did get the money, but I don't think they cashed this check. :-)

As he said to me, GM has pledged $10 million to each team, so what the heck is this? A photo op, of course.
