Christmas Eve Dinner 2014

Merry Christmas to those who celebrate.

Here is a laid back Christmas Eve dinner. It was just the three of us, so we had the normal, but nothing extra.

Calamari, mussels and fried shrimp was on the menu this year.

I cooked the sauce the night before and only had to make the spaghetti and the fried shrimp. I managed both tasks in a half hour and dinner was at the usual time. I considered this a miracle, since my son and I had met friends for lunch in Chinatown.

All was good and after a busy day, very welcome.

  1. It sounds like a very nice dinner to me, We had lobster tails which were very nice , plus Angel hair paste in a pesto sauce. We all had a very nice Christmas eve dinner.
