Trimming The Pine Trees, Once Again

I found that I was so far advanced at work, that I could afford to take a full day off. I usually go to gym in the morning on Wednesdays, to burn through some of my vacation time.

In honor of getting an entire day off, I decided I would finally get around to trimming our pine trees in the back yard.

Since I was basically busy the entire month of July, it got pushed to mid August. Talk about the dog days of summer!

The elementary school kids went back to school that very morning, so I was seriously late.

I got my start right after we got home from the gym. It got hotter and hotter and I finally had to stop at lunch time.

After a nap and a trip out to run some errands, we went out at 6:15PM in 103 degree heat, to finish it off.

Thankfully, the sun was slowly dropping in the sky and there was a bit more shade up there.

So...for another year, it is done.
