Donald Fagen Turns 64

Happy Birthday to Donald Fagen. He turns 64 today.

Supposedly he has been working on a solo album with Michael Leonhart, his Steely Dan trumpet player. Michael is producing the album.

Donald was quoted back in 2010 as saying. "This one does not have a theme but they are good stories -- most of my songs have a plot," he said. "The album, or CD, or whatever they call it these days should be out next year." Next year being 2011. Since we haven't seen it yet, this year might be the year.

Let's hope he gets it out before he becomes a Senior Citizen. ;-)
