Blogger has had an updated interface for the past few months, but I had not checked it out until last week. One of the cool things I can now see, is how many page views my blog has each day and if I sort them by amount, I find out my top 5 posts.
It was a shock to me, but my good friend and cameraman, Luis Fuerte, wins the most viewed post, by a mile. He received 112 page views! All this time, I thought he was like every other post, just 2 comments (my average). So to say the least, I am very surprised. He's a wonderful man and I am glad he ranks number 1. :-)
Number 2 is the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books post from last year. I posted it on my work email and I am sure that helped it get 69 views. I probably posted Luis, too, now that I think about it.
The number 3 slot is taken by a post talking about a Meteor Shower that I witnessed. I had 10 comments on it, but I have no idea why it has 49 page views. Good for it!
Number 4 is the ever popular Max Martini and I in a Photobucket black and white moment. It got 3 comments and 30 page views. Good job Unit Fans! :-)
Taking up the number 5 spot is a photograph a Dive friend took of a Pink Flamingo. He got 5 comments and 28 page views. I don't think I posted that one anywhere. Hmmmm... In other interesting things, I have had 12,349 total page views, since I began this blog in June of 2007. Every large thing, starts small. I started small and still remain small, but even with that, I have achieved great things along the way.
I am grateful to you all, for reading and staying.
Of course I will continue to read your Blog after all you are my sister, and it keeps my informed of many topics. With Monday being your "Water Post". I love when you have places you have been or a friend has been it gives me a chance to go places that I know I will never go any more. All in all as long as you do a Blog, I will be here to read and comment on. :-)
ReplyDeleteGlad to have you.
ReplyDeleteTalk later. :-)
I may not get here every day like I used to, but I love to stop by. It feels like such a great way to keep in touch, but I also love all the interesting things you post.
ReplyDeleteFran: Yeah, you just never know where this weird mind of mine ends up. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love keeping in touch with you, too. To think we started out together and now after having traveled so many broadcasting miles together (well, sort of together), we are on totally different career paths. Yet, when all is said and done, they seem to converge anyway. It is always nice to have you turn up commenting on a post.
Trying out the new commenting feature. You can now directly reply to a comment. :-)
