I did indeed go to Ash Wednesday service...thankfully short. :-)
My ashes, which I thought would disappear by being in a pool after service, stayed with me all day. Wow.
Thank goodness for bangs.
The one thing that struck me as a bit weird, was this crown of thorns, that was hanging by the entrance to the Church.
What do you think?
Appropriate, or over the top?
Over the top, no not like even a little. This goes back to my feelings of how stupid people are getting, & it doesn't matter who the people are. You may have had a lot of respect for them & now they are all the same.
