So here it is, Easter Morning and several weeks ago, I mentioned that the lilacs would be blooming by Easter. So I went out Saturday morning, to see their status and take a few pictures of how they are coming along. Still lots of booms in process and not very mature, but some of them are very close to being finished opening and I shot a few of them. The smell was incredible as I got in close, to shoot these pictures. I wish I had "Smell O' Pictures", to give you an idea of how really great they smell. :-)
I was so happy to see that they bloomed, true to prediction. It's in these little miracles, that I see the hand of something more then chance and it always brightens my day, when it happens.
I almost want to cut some for my Easter table, but I think I will leave them be. One does not mess with perfection.
