We have been waiting for this day all week.
The Space Shuttle Endeavor will be arriving in Los Angeles this afternoon. Before it arrives, it will be passing many places to get photogenic fly by shots of it. One of them will be The Golden Gate Bridge...natch.
Other places will be the Plant in Palmdale, where the shuttle was assembled, The State Capitol in Sacramento, Universal Studios, Disneyland, and The California Science Center, to name a few.
It will be landing at LAX and then in a few days, make the journey on the streets of LA, to it's permanent home at The California Science Center.
I am hoping to get a view of it, as it does the beauty shot over Universal Studios, only a few miles away from us. Of course, noonish is my busiest time of the day...so I send a few prayers for a delay getting down to the Southland.
No matter what, it's a great day to live in LA. :-)
Just like it was great day a few months ago to live in New York, when we got our shuttle God Bless America
