The rain continues today, for the fourth day in a row. It has been mostly light drizzle, with small areas of heavy rain. The main problem, for us, was that it canceled his flying lesson. We all had small hopes that he would get it in, since it wasn't raining this morning, but what was marginal in Santa Clarita, was not in Van Nuys. I think the instructor was more bummed out, then we were. We rescheduled it for Tuesday, rain willing.
So instead of flying, it was just another Sunday of running the audio board at Church. We had the Children's Choir today, for the Epiphany. My son on the board. After dealing with the Christmas Season, doing the normal Children's Choir, seemed like a piece of cake. I was sitting in the pew and at one point I glanced back at him. He radiates such confidence in his handling of the job now. It makes me happy to see it. When the time comes to move to the new Church building, he is so going to need every ounce of it, that he has.
