Polls...And Final Unit Thoughts

Hopefully last Tuesday nights show is not the final episode that will air on CBS. They have been in repeats for the past 2 weeks, which we viewers truly appreciate. Before we totally leave the series, I would like to point out something that we have been working on at a board that I hang out at. During the final new episode, Side Angle Side, Mack and Charlie go out on a double date. We have been unsuccessful in finding out the name of the actress who plays Mack's Date. But we think we know why that is.

We can't ask Mr. Martini, but we can give it our best guess.

The picture at the top of this post is from Side Angle Side: Mack and Date.

The next one is a picture of Max and his wife.

On a related note, thanks to all 12 of you who voted in my last poll. I wanted a general idea of who is out there and I appreciated seeing even a small confirmation of occasional readers, to this blog. You humble me.

  1. Just wanted to let you know I'm still watching and enjoying The Unit reruns (which for me are NOT reruns). I really liked this tuesday's episode where their mission was to evacuate a foreign dictator who'd had a liver transplant from a hospital in the path of a hurricane. Then they are forced to choose between the mission and rescuing innocents who also were left behind. The final scene looking down on the rooftop from the chopper flying off was what made the episode for me.

According to TitanTV, The Unit preempted on the 8th by "The People's Choice Awards" and on the 15th by "Comanche Moon." TitanTV only shows two weeks ahead, so beyond that is unknown.

If CBS keeps showing it, I'll keep tuning in. And if they do keep airing episodes I have no idea if they'll show them in any sort of natural order so that at least some continuity will be preserved. I hope so.

  2. I am so glad you liked that episode. It's funny, I liked it when it aired and so did many others, but now that we have gone down the Tiffy being such a jerk road, these past 6 months or so. Her asking to have a baby, seems too weird. Glad she didn't, by the way. That family has enough challenges right now. :-)

I loved the fact that Charlie lied to Jonas about the dictator's condition. We all knew it was the right thing to do, but it really WAS the right thing to do. Very well done ending.

I do believe this was the last one Big Brother Nine takes over sometime later in the month. Sigh...
