He is an amazing man!
Max Martini, who I have been a fan of since 2006, is turning another year older today.
He has been very busy this past year, turning up in projects such as Hawaii Five-0, Rizzoli & Isles (see the photo above), Revenge, Criminal Minds, Flashpoint, Castle, CSI and White Collar. As to movies, he has been in Mandrake, Columbiana, and He Loves Me (a Lifetime Movie with Heather Locklear).
He is currently shooting a film in Toronto, Canada called Pacific Rim (Directed by Guillermo del Toro) and will be doing that until well into next year. After that, he will be directing a movie that he wrote called Will Gardner. It is about a homeless Iraqi War Vet who sets out on a motorcycle journey. Homeless vets are a cause that he feels passionate about and he decided that he wanted to be the one to shine some light on the subject. He just signed on Robert Patrick (From The Unit) and Michael Irby (Also from The Unit). The star will be Jeffrey Dean Morgan, as the character "Ghost".
I am proud of how much work he is getting, but I really feel that he is not getting projects that showcase his incredible talent. When he was on The Unit, we not only saw the warrior, but the family man and also, the man in a marriage that went out of control. The photo up above, actually comes about as close as I have seen him get. Father and family man showcased so well. :-)
