Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree - How Lovely Are Your Branches

Here is my living room this Holiday Season.

It doesn't change much, year to year, but there are a few things different.

The first one is the fact that I have new stockings for both my son and my cat. Makenna has a HUGE red and white striped stocking, that I bought for a song at the after Christmas sale last year. I get a laugh out of it, if nothing else.

The one for my son is a black tactical stocking from LA Police Gear. It too was inexpensive during the after holiday sale and he wanted it, so he has it.

The tree follows the less is more theme. White lights, lots of garland and few balls...especially down at the lower third of the tree.

I would like to acknowledge the loss of a personal favorite ball this year. I had a Challenger Shuttle ball that we got the year before the Challenger disaster. I thought it was made of plastic, but as I found out this year, it was plastic wrap around a real Christmas ball...and it broke in a fall. Oh well...
