My Water Post For Today.
As the Fall ends and winter begins, I thought I would go back down to the LA River and shoot the river in the Fall. After getting there, I found out that most of the trees are not planted, but native. That means they arrive and thrive in the river and do not change color. A few were dropping their leaves, but the vast majority were not.
Oh well, enjoy what you can see of Fall, in the Los Angeles River.
What can I say, "only near the Pluto off ramp". But it still looks nice :-)
ReplyDeleteI like the LA River. Concrete lined as it is. I especially like this area, where they let the natural bottom stay. Up in Santa Clarita, we have popular trees that turn a brilliant yellow and I expected the same, here. Oh well.
