It's Flag Day.
In my humble opinion, there is no better way to honor the flag then to see it flying.
In this case, flying on the graves of the men and women who gave their lives in service of this Country.
These photos were taken at Arlington Cemetery on the Memorial Day weekend. We have visited the cemetery many times over the years, but we wanted to see the graves with the flags on them.
As you can see, it was quite moving.
The one thing that sets this cemetery apart is the way the markers are laid out. The rows all in line, which is such a military thing to do.
Other cemeteries have rows but these are ROWS.
It always is stunning to see and worth the trip up the hills.
