Raining Cats And Dogs

This was Sunday afternoon.

The rain was falling down hard, all day. Usually our rain goes back and forth. Hard one minute and then drizzle or nothing, the next. Not on Sunday.
They said we got about 7 1/2 inches during the day and I am not surprised. It was definitely raining the same, all day long. Thankfully, we didn't get too flooded out in the back yard. In good news for us, this rain total brings us past the normal for the year. So we have no drought this year. Of course the water wizards will say we are still low and must continue to conserve and rightly so. But it's good to be above normal. :-)
