I have a Max Martini friend who just began documenting a year in her life, via photographs. I think it's a splendid idea and feel that my Blog serves a similar function, for me. One of the things mentioned was shooting a picture out your window at work. In my case, I don't have a window...but I share a view with my boss. She is very nice about keeping her window shades open. Especially the one that I can see. It helps a whole lot, because I get very claustrophobic in that room. It is long and narrow, so I am even far from the door itself. A couple of notes on what's sitting on my desk. I get lots of little presents from Internet friends. I keep several at work, to keep me company. The Halter Bonbons are from my friend Gina in Belgium (they were excellent, by the way). Tinkerbell is from my friend Smittenarmykitten in Florida. Indiana Jones is from Hubby (he knows I have a thing for Harrison Ford) :-)

Yes, that is CBS Television City's phone number posted on my hard drive. Got to bug those people, once in a while. lol
The fake flowers on my desk are Forsythia's. As I mentioned before, I love the flower and miss it, so the artificial ones help liven the room.
So that's the view from here...in my office.
