In a town that is currently shut down, TV Production wise, today was a total zoo at my humble place of business. I won't say who made an appearance today, but suffice it to say, the Secret Service were out and about, which gives you a hint as to how high up the guest was. 2 Sound Stages in operation, 1 Remote Truck, 5 Minicams out and every Edit Bay in use. As I read today in an email...we were maxed out! Most of this was caused by the fact that California is a pivotal state in next week's Super Tuesday primaries. Everyone wants those oh so important California delegate votes and airtime is the way they get them. It was interesting to see some of the stumping in action. Having to be "on" all the time for over a year of their life. I found myself thinking that it must be so hard to be a candidate for a major political office. I wouldn't trade my life for theirs, not for any amount of money.
